Web design on Signal Mountain, from someone who lives here.

I’m Emmett Green. I’ve lived on Signal Mountain since I was 10, and I build custom websites for small businesses starting at $199. If you’re on the mountain, I’m not an out-of-town agency. I’m a neighbor you can text.

A small town that runs on word of mouth

Signal Mountain is its own town, chartered in 1919, with about 8,900 people at the 2020 census. Most of its shops, cafes and offices sit along Taft Highway (US 127), and the big-box stores are down in the valley. That means mountain businesses tend to be small, local and run by people their customers already know.

Word of mouth carries a lot up here, but it now ends with a search. Someone hears your name at the pool, at Rainbow Lake or on a Signal Point trail, then looks you up on their phone. If what they find is an old Facebook page or nothing, that recommendation goes to waste.

I know the mountain because I grew up on it, and I’m usually a few minutes away. I can meet in person, take photos of your place myself, and fix things fast when you need a change.

What I would build for a Signal Mountain business

Mountain businesses are small and personal, and their sites should feel the same way.

A site that matches your reputation

Your name already gets passed around town. A clean, fast site with real photos and clear prices backs up what people heard about you.

Booking for home services

Cleaners, landscapers, tutors and trades who come to the house get a booking or quote form, so neighbors can set something up without a phone call.

Lessons, classes and studios

Instructors, studios and coaches get a schedule, prices and sign-ups on one page, so you can stop answering the same questions in text threads.

  • Home services
  • Tutors and lessons
  • Studios and coaches
  • Cafes and restaurants
  • Photographers
  • Contractors

Recent work: Aiden’s Details

Aiden’s Details is a friend’s detailing business that grew by word of mouth, the same way most mountain businesses do. His site gives those referrals somewhere to land: packages, prices, real photos and booking.

Signal Mountain questions

More answers are on the main FAQ.

Yes. I live on Signal Mountain, so meeting at your shop, your house or a coffee spot nearby is easy. I can also take photos of your place myself if you don’t have good ones.

Word of mouth is great, but most people still look you up before they call. A site gives them your prices, your work and a way to book, so the recommendation turns into a customer instead of a dead end.

With me, a Starter site with up to 3 pages starts at $199, a Growth site with booking starts at $699, and an online store starts at $1,200. Hosting and small edits are $20 a month.

Nearby, I also build sites in Red Bank, North Shore, Hixson and Chattanooga.
