Much of Hixson is inside the City of Chattanooga now, but most people still call it Hixson. It covers a lot of ground: DuPont, Northgate, Big Ridge, Valleybrook, and out to Chickamauga Lake and Chester Frost Park. Hixson Pike and Highway 153 carry most of the traffic.
Northgate Mall is in the middle of a big change. Its owner plans to replace most of the mall interior with an open-air town center, keeping stores like Belk and BJ’s, and Friends of Hixson has held public sessions on what it should become in 2026. More new businesses around Northgate means more competition in local searches.
That’s where a site helps most. When someone in Hixson searches for a detailer, a cleaner or a dentist, the businesses with full Google profiles, reviews and fast mobile sites get the call.
