A city built around a fort and a battlefield

Fort Oglethorpe grew out of an Army post from 1902, and the Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park covers about the southern two-thirds of the city. That history brings visitors, and it gives local businesses a story worth telling.

Most day-to-day business runs along Battlefield Parkway, which connects to I-75 at exit 350, and LaFayette Road. Those are drive-by roads. People often see your sign first and then look you up on their phone before they stop, so your Google listing and a fast mobile site do a lot of the selling.

The city has also talked about reviving its historic downtown around Barnhardt Circle, where the seasonal Stable 41 market is held at the Welcome Center. If you’re a local shop, vendor or restaurant, a site that pairs that local history with clear hours, prices and directions makes you easy to pick.

What I would build for a Fort Oglethorpe business

Whether customers are locals running errands or visitors in for the battlefield, they find you on their phone first.

A phone-first listing

A fast mobile site and a full Google Business Profile with your hours, photos and directions, so a quick search off Battlefield Parkway turns into a visit.

Visitor-friendly pages

Restaurants, shops and lodging near the park get pages that answer what visitors ask: how far, what’s open, and how to get there.

Booking for service businesses

Auto shops, salons and trades get online booking or quote requests built in, so you’re not stuck answering the phone mid-job.

Fort Oglethorpe questions

More answers are on the main FAQ.

Yes. Fort Oglethorpe is a short drive from Chattanooga, and my prices are the same in Georgia and Tennessee. I can meet in person, and the rest works over calls, texts and email.

Yes. I set up your Google Business Profile with the right category, hours and photos, and write your site to answer what visitors search for, like places to eat or shop near the battlefield. Nobody can promise a #1 spot, but you’ll start from a strong one.

With me, a Starter site with up to 3 pages starts at $199, a Growth site with booking starts at $699, and an online store starts at $1,200. Hosting and small edits are $20 a month.

Nearby, I also build sites in Rossville, Ringgold, East Ridge and Chattanooga.
