Chattanooga area

Web design for the North Shore.

I’m Emmett Green, a web designer based in Chattanooga. I build custom sites for small businesses starting at $199 and online stores from $1,200, and I care a lot about how they look, which matters on a street full of good design.

A neighborhood where the storefront is the brand

The North Shore is the part of Chattanooga across the river from downtown, centered on Frazier Avenue, with River Street and North Market Street close by. It’s known for independent boutiques, cafes and galleries, plus Coolidge Park and its carousel right at the end of the street.

It’s also walkable again. The Walnut Street Bridge reopened in October 2026 after an 18-month overhaul, so people can walk over from downtown. Visitors finding a shop on foot usually check it on their phone right there on the sidewalk.

For a boutique or studio, that means your site has to look as good as your window. I build sites that carry your style, show your products well, and let people buy online when they get home.

What I would build for a North Shore business

Style matters here more than most places. These are the builds that fit.

A boutique online store

Product pages, cart, checkout and shipping, designed to feel like walking into your shop, so out-of-town visitors can keep buying after they leave.

A gallery or studio site

Big, sharp images of your work, artist or maker bios, and inquiry or commission forms that go straight to you.

A cafe or restaurant page

Menu, hours, location and photos that load fast for someone standing on Frazier deciding where to eat.

  • Boutiques
  • Cafes and restaurants
  • Galleries and artists
  • Salons and studios
  • Clothing brands
  • Fitness and yoga

Recent work: Aiden’s Details

Aiden’s Details is a detailing business, not a boutique, but it shows how I work: a dark, polished design that fits his brand, real photos of his work, and packages and prices laid out clearly.

North Shore questions

More answers are on the main FAQ.

Yes. Online stores start at $1,200 and include product pages, a cart, checkout, shipping and order emails. You can add and edit products yourself after launch.

That’s the part I care about most. I start from your shop, your photos and your brand, and you see and approve the homepage design before I build the rest.

With me, a Starter site with up to 3 pages starts at $199, a Growth site with booking starts at $699, and an online store starts at $1,200. Hosting and small edits are $20 a month.

Nearby, I also build sites in Red Bank, Signal Mountain, Hixson and downtown Chattanooga.
